The Pack (US AND THEM)

Site specific work for the exhibition The Pack (US AND THEM) at AGA Works, Copenhagen, DK.

The exhbition space AGA Works is located in a former industrial garage. For her solo exhibition, Thrane has created a site specific work with reference to Joseph Beuys' The Pack from 1969. A ‘Pack’ is defined as ‘a group of people who are regarded with disgust or disdain’. Such a group is exemplified as a ‘minority group, marginalized group, scum, dregs, mob, rabble’ etc. The Pack stand outside the larger community, and have instead created their own. Perhaps they have done so out of necessity, perhaps to rebell against the others.
