Thrane orchestrates meetings between mass produced -often discarded- flexible and firm materials, objects and structures, which become sculptures and site-specific installations. Her works are centred around sculptural experience, and speak directly to the body and the senses as aesthetic and spatial gestures. Central to the works are the traces and markings that we leave through touch and through living.
